NIB Questions Former NSA Boss Osei Assibey Over Ghost Names Scandal
The National Investigations Bureau (NIB) is continuing its probe into the ghost names scandal involving the National Service Authority (NSA). The latest figure to be questioned is Osei Assibey Antwi, the former Executive Director of the NSA.Assibey Antwi was invited by the NIB for questioning on March 20, 2025, and appeared before investigators with his lawyer. The interrogation lasted several hours, where Assibey was questioned about the alleged fraudulent enlistment of non-existent personnel on the NSA payroll.His questioning follows previous detentions, including that of Gifty Oware-Mensah, the former Deputy Director in charge of Finance and Administration, who was recently interrogated after returning to the country.
