Daddy Lumba and Gyedu-Blay Ambolley to Receive National Honours.
Two iconic figures in Ghana's music scene, Daddy Lumba (Charles Kwadwo Fosu) and Gyedu-Blay Ambolley, will be honoured at the 2024 National Honours and Awards ceremony for their outstanding contributions to the creative arts. The event, scheduled for December 30, 2024, at the Accra International Conference Centre, will see both legends awarded the Grand Medal for their exceptional service to the nation.They will be joined by actress and filmmaker Juliet Yaa Asantewaa Asante and renowned filmmaker Kwaw Paintsil Ansah, who will also receive the prestigious Order of the Volta (Member).
