Elementor Three former Ghanaian students, Evans Oppong, Henry Dabuo, and Otis Opoku, appeared in court on October 8, 2024, for allegedly forging high school transcripts to secure admission to Lehigh University, USA. The trio, who received over $500,000 in financial aid, were arrested on September 9 alongside a fourth student, Cyrilstan Nomobon Sowah-Nai, whose hearing is set for October 15. Lehigh University raised concerns about discrepancies in the transcripts, leading to their arrest. Defense attorneys argue that the documents were improperly authenticated and may involve third-party errors. The arraignment is scheduled for November 7.
