Kalu Receives Over 100 PDP Defectors into APC in Abia
Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, has received over 100 former members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) now defecting into the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abia State. The mass defection was celebrated during the inauguration of the Renewed Hope Partners (RHP) in Obingwa Local Government Area on Sunday. Notable among the defectors is ex-PDP State Secretary Barr. Ibe Nwadioha, who declared his move as “the collapse of every other political party in Obingwa LGA.” The defectors pledged their support for President Bola Tinubu, Deputy Speaker Kalu, and APC’s development agenda for the South East.
