APC Rules Out Fubara’s Entry Into Party The All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State has strongly denied reports that suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara could defect to the ruling party. Tony Okocha, the state chairman of the APC and a close ally of Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike , made this clear during a press briefing at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja. “The APC is not a dumping ground for political misfits,” he said.
