Group Commends NSC DG for Intervention in Olympian Amas Daniel’s Suspension
The Director-General of the National Sports Commission (NSC), Bukola Olopade, has been praised for his prompt intervention in the crisis surrounding the suspension of Olympian Amas Daniel by the Nigeria Wrestling Federation. The commendation came from the Bring Back Amas Movement (BBAM), which staged a protest at the Bayelsa Government House on Monday over the wrestler’s suspension. Olopade, who was in the state to discuss Bayelsa’s bid to host the 2028 National Sports Festival, was lauded for showing “exemplary leadership and a fatherly approach” in mediating the dispute.
