President Akufo-Addo Dismisses NSA Director General Over Stadium Controversy.
President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has fired Dodzie Numekevor, the Director General of the National Sports Authority (NSA), following the revocation of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium's license by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) to host international matches.The decision came after reports that the stadium was rented out for a church event just days before Ghana's crucial AFCON 2025 qualifier against Angola.
