Army rescues 26 kidnap victims, foils jailbreak in North

The Nigerian Army says its troops have rescued 26 kidnapped victims and foiled an attempted jailbreak in fresh operations across the North West and North Central regions.​ In a statement, the army said the operations targeted terrorist and bandit groups behind recent attacks and abductions in several communities. Tinubu orders massive manhunt for Niger terrorists

CDS, COAS urge North West troops to stay vigilant amid festive strikes

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Olufemi Oluyede, and Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, have urged troops of Operation Fansan Yamma in the North West to maintain high vigilance during the festive season.
