NPP Urges Police to Address NDC MP’s Comments in Savannah Region.
The New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Savannah Region has called on the Ghana Police Service to address remarks made by Yussif Sulemana, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Bole-Bamboi, at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) "Enough Is Enough" demonstration. Sulemana referred to the NDC's flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama, as a "warrior" during the protest, which was aimed at pushing for a forensic audit of the electoral register.At a press conference on 19 September 2024, in Damongo, Mohammed Isaah, the regional secretary of the NPP, criticized the NDC MP for his comments, labeling them as provocative.
