NMA applauds Afe Babalola’s impact on healthcare, medical training
The Nigerian Medical Association has hailed the Founder and Chancellor of Afe Babalola University, Ado Ekiti, Aare Afe Babalola, for his remarkable contributions to healthcare and medical education in Nigeria. First NMA Vice President, Dr Benjamin Olowojebutu, gave the commendation on Monday while leading a high powered delegation on a courtesy visit to the university. Olowojebutu said he was overwhelmed by the scale of investment in the 400 bed ABUAD Multi System Hospital, the Industrial Park, the Independent Power Plant and the ABUAD Enterprise Farms, describing them as uncommon achievements by a private individual.
