US Congress lists steps to tackle Christian persecution in Nigeria

The United States Congress has outlined a series of measures it says are needed to tackle the growing persecution of Christians and wider insecurity in Nigeria. Lawmakers recommended reforms in security, justice, financial oversight and foreign policy as part of a broader strategy.​ The proposals follow a report prepared for President Donald Trump by a congressional panel he set up to investigate the situation of Christians in Nigeria.
