Four Soldiers Killed in Boko Haram Attack on Borno Military Base
Four Nigerian soldiers were killed and five others injured when Boko Haram terrorists attacked a military base in Ngamdu, along the Damaturu–Maiduguri highway in Kaga Local Government Area of Borno State. The assault occurred around 2:30 a.m. on Friday. Confirming the incident, the spokesperson for Operation Hadin Kai, Lt. Col. Uba Sani, said troops successfully repelled the attack despite its intensity. According to him, the terrorists launched a coordinated strike using rocket-propelled grenades, armed drones, and command-initiated improvised explosive devices (IEDs) targeting soldiers and their equipment. “Troops of Operation Hadin Kai swiftly responded with reinforcement from the 29 Task Force Brigade.
