Tamale Central NDC Primaries: Police Deploy 400 Officers for Security

The Northern Regional Police Command has assured maximum security ahead of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary primaries in the Tamale Central Constituency. Speaking at a press briefing in Tamale, Regional Police Commander ACP Wisdom Lavoe revealed that about 400 security personnel will be deployed to polling centres and strategic locations to guarantee peace and order during the election. According to ACP Lavoe, the security deployment will include officers from the Police Service, Armed Forces, Fire Service, Immigration Service, and other relevant agencies.
