Hundreds of Zamfara Residents Still Without Homes After Windstorm Residents in Bungudu and Maru Local Government Areas of Zamfara State continue to live with relatives and neighbors nearly one month after a powerful windstorm struck their communities on May 15, 2025 . The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) shared this update following an assessment conducted in the affected areas and posted on X (formerly Twitter) on Tuesday .
