Presidency: Nigeria on ‘healing journey’ to $1trn economy by 2030

 Enugu Gov Mbah to Lead NEC Security Training Reform Panel

The National Economic Council (NEC) has appointed the Governor of Enugu State, Dr. Peter Mbah, to chair a special committee tasked with overhauling the training institutions for Nigeria's security agencies. The decision was made during the 152nd NEC meeting presided over by President Bola Tinubu. The committee, which includes six other state governors, is mandated to produce a comprehensive blueprint within one month. The plan will focus on renovating and modernizing training facilities for the Nigeria Police and other security agencies to make them more conducive for learning. This initiative is part of President Tinubu's broader commitment to reforming the nation's security sector.
