Bail Denied as Charges Amended in Ahmed Suale Murder Case
Daniel Owusu Koranteng, a businessman accused in the murder of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale, has had his bail application rejected by the Madina District Court. Koranteng was remanded into police custody until his next court appearance on April 17, 2025, after prosecutors amended the charges against him.In his second court appearance on April 2, 2025, the 35-year-old was informed of the revised charges, which now include abetment of crime and murder. Previously, he was only charged with murder.Koranteng is accused of working with two others, who remain at large, to commit the crime of murder.
