Togo : MSF ouvre maisons pour diabète et handicap

À Lomé, l’ONG française Mutualistes Sans Frontières (MSF) lance deux projets pour améliorer la vie des habitants du Grand Lomé. La commune Golfe 1 accueillera prochainement une Maison du Diabète et une Maison du Handicap. La Maison du Diabète offrira des services de prévention, un suivi éducatif, des conseils nutritionnels et des actions de sensibilisation pour mieux gérer et prévenir la maladie. La Maison du Handicap sera un espace dédié aux enfants vivant avec un handicap, encadré par des éducatrices spécialisées, visant à favoriser leur inclusion et leur bien-être. Ces initiatives illustrent la volonté de MSF de promouvoir une gouvernance centrée sur l’humain, basée sur la solidarité et la coopération internationale. A deadly shelling at a bustling market in Omdurman, near Sudan’s capital, has left a local mortuary overwhelmed with bodies, according to medical charity Doctors Without Borders (MSF). The attack, which occurred on Saturday, has claimed the lives of over 100 people, with many of the victims being women and children.Both MSF and Sudanese authorities have accused the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) of carrying out the attack—an allegation the RSF denies.
