Parliament Approves NIB Request for MPs’ Interaction
Ghana's Parliament has agreed to a request from the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB) to allow two Members of Parliament (MPs) to meet with the agency for an official interaction. The request involves Mustapha Yussif, MP for Yagaba Kubori Constituency, and Kwame Asare Obeng (A Plus), MP for Gomoa Central Constituency.A letter, signed by Ebenezer Ahumah Djetor, the Clerk to Parliament, confirmed the approval in line with Articles 117 and 118 of Ghana's 1992 Constitution, which govern MPs' privileges.
