COAS Meets Oba Of Lagos Seeks Support For Operations

The Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Lieutenant General Waidi Shaibu, on Thursday paid a courtesy visit to the Oba of Lagos, His Royal Majesty Oba Rilwan Akiolu, at his palace in Lagos. The visit was aimed at strengthening collaboration with traditional institutions to enhance security and support ongoing military operations nationwide.​ In a statement by Army authorities, General Shaibu thanked the Oba and other traditional leaders in Lagos for their consistent support to the Nigerian Army.
