Qatar restricts visas for Nigerian men travelling alone
The Qatari Ministry of Interior has introduced new entry restrictions that bar Nigerian men travelling without family members from obtaining tourist or transit visas. The policy, which took effect on 5 September 2025, applies to both new and pending visa applications. Under the revised rules, only women and families are eligible, while men travelling independently will only qualify if accompanied by relatives.
