2Baba: Burna Boy ahead of Wizkid, Davido locally and globally
Nigerian music legend 2Baba has hailed Burna Boy as the leading Afrobeats star of the moment, saying he currently operates on a different level from peers like Wizkid and Davido. Speaking on the ‘Mic On’ podcast, 2Baba said he enjoys music from all three but, if forced to choose, he sees Burna Boy as “on the top of the game right now.” He likened judging artists to comparing painters with different styles and stressed that such rankings are ultimately a matter of taste.
