The 131st edition of the Ngmayem Festival in Manya Krobo was a vibrant celebration, featuring thrilling performances by contemporary artists King Paluta and Bongofari. Held from October 19 to 27, the festival brought together the Krobo community for traditional events, including health walks, canoe racing, and football galas.King Paluta, known for hits like Makoma and Sika Aba Fie, performed on October 24, energizing the crowd at the foot of Krobo Mountain. Bongofari followed suit on October 26, bringing his unique "Odo Reggae" style to the stage at the Krobo Heritage Concert. His performance was well-received by festivalgoers, highlighting his contributions to Ghana's Reggae and Dancehall scene.
