Presidential Aide and Senior Presidential Advisor to President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, has emphasised the need to revitalise the agricultural sector by making it more appealing and engaging for young people. Speaking during an interview with Woezor TV on Sunday, 20 April, she highlighted the importance of youth involvement in agriculture as a means of securing sustainable livelihoods and national development. According to Madam Bawah Mogtari, the transformation of agriculture into a more attractive sector is crucial to changing perceptions among the youth. “All we want to do is to make agriculture sexier and more engaging for the youth to be able to build something for themselves,” she said.
