Direct Flights Between London Gatwick and Kumasi to Begin December 2024.
The Ghana Airports Company Limited (GACL), in partnership with Ethiopian Airlines, has announced the launch of direct flights connecting London Gatwick Airport to Kumasi Prempeh I International Airport. Starting December 3, 2024, this service aims to enhance connectivity between the United Kingdom and Ghana.Flights will depart London Gatwick at 2:10 AM and arrive in Kumasi at 9:05 AM, with the return leg departing Kumasi at 11:00 AM and reaching London at 6:00 PM. Additional flights are scheduled during the busy holiday season, beginning December 15.This development is expected to boost travel convenience for residents of the Ashanti Region while fostering economic and cultural ties between the two countries. GACL highlights this initiative as part of its commitment to expanding Ghana's international aviation network.
