Trump Urges DOJ to Target Rivals, Fires Prosecutor
Former U.S. President Donald Trump has once again pressured the Justice Department to take action against his political opponents, drawing criticism for undermining the agency’s independence. In a Saturday social media post, Trump called out Attorney General Pam Bondi, demanding investigations into California Senator Adam Schiff and New York Attorney General Letitia James, both Democrats. He accused them of mortgage fraud, echoing claims from one of his allies, Bill Pulte, Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency.
