Super Eagles receive Tinubu’s national honours, housing and land rewards
Super Eagles players who finished as runners up at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations have officially received their national honours certificates along with title documents for houses and land promised by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The presentation was held on December 22, 2025, at the team’s hotel in Fez, Morocco, ahead of the start of their new AFCON qualifying campaign. President Tinubu announced the rewards after Nigeria’s impressive run at AFCON 2023 in Côte d’Ivoire, where the team reached the final earlier in 2024. The package included national honours, housing allocations in Abuja or Lagos and land grants in Abuja for squad members and officials.
