NAFDAC Seizes ₦1.2bn Fake Malaria Drugs in Lagos Raid

The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) has confiscated counterfeit malaria medicines worth over ₦1.2 billion during a warehouse raid in Ilasa-Oshodi, Lagos State. The agency revealed in a statement on its official X handle that officials intercepted 277 cartons of fake and unregistered Malamal Forte tablets, concealed in boxes falsely labelled as Diclofenac Potassium 50mg. Investigations showed that the drugs were illegally imported from Shanxi Tianyuan Pharmaceuticals Group in China and falsely declared as spare parts in the shipping manifest. Police Probe Murder of Lagos Designer Deb’rah Porsche

The Lagos State Police Command has launched an investigation into the gruesome murder of interior designer Deborah Moses, popularly known as Deb’rah Porsche. She was allegedly killed by her ex-boyfriend, identified as Lintex, late on Wednesday night in her Lagos residence. According to eyewitnesses, the suspect, a native of Otukpo in Benue State, disguised as a dispatch rider to gain access to the estate where Deborah lived. When security guards became suspicious, he allegedly scaled the fence and forced his way into her apartment. Lagos Task Force Clears Street Traders in Victoria Island

The Lagos State enforcement team has cleared illegal street traders from Bishop Oluwole Street in Victoria Island as part of its ongoing campaign to restore order in the city.
