Nigeria to host Ghana in women’s rugby series before Canada World Series Report:Nigeria will take on Ghana in a three-match women’s rugby league series in Lagos this October as part of preparations for the IRL Women’s Rugby League World Series in Canada. The series, which carries world ranking points, kicks off on October 4 at Rugby School Nigeria in Eko Atlantic City. The remaining two matches will be staged at Alaro City on October 7 and 11, where a new purpose-built pitch is being developed as Nigeria’s training base. Nigeria head coach Bolu Fagboran said the fixtures are critical for his team’s readiness: “These three weeks of preparation in Nigeria are absolutely vital.
