AU anti graft board seeks youth partnership to fight corruption
The African Union Advisory Board Against Corruption has pledged to deepen collaboration with young people across the continent in order to tackle corruption and build a future based on integrity and justice. Chairperson Kwami Edem Senanu made the commitment in Arusha, Tanzania, in a statement marking International Anti Corruption Day 2025. Senanu described Africa’s youth as future custodians of the continent who are not only victims of corruption and illicit financial flows but also powerful agents of change. He warned that corruption undermines development, erodes public trust and blocks human progress by stealing resources and opportunities.
