Brentford sign Nigerian teenager Kaye Furo from Club Brugge
Premier League club Brentford have completed the signing of Nigerian born forward Kaye Furo from Belgian side Club Brugge on a permanent deal, subject to international clearance and work permit. The 18 year old has agreed a long term contract with the London club as part of their strategy of investing in young attacking talent. Furo is the son of former Super Eagles defender Furo Iyenemi, who played for Nigeria at the 2000 Africa Cup of Nations co hosted by Ghana and Nigeria. Born in Belgium, Kaye has represented the country at youth levels from under 15 to under 21, but he remains eligible to play for Nigeria at senior level.
