Rosenior verbally agrees to take Chelsea job
Strasbourg manager Liam Rosenior says he has verbally agreed to become Chelsea’s new head coach, replacing Enzo Maresca who left the club on New Year’s Day. The 41 year old described Chelsea as an incredible club with an incredible squad and said it is an opportunity he cannot turn down, even though he has not yet signed his contract. Rosenior explained at a Strasbourg press conference that all terms have been agreed and the move should be completed within hours, adding that he wanted to face the media in person before leaving out of respect for the French club.
