EFCC summons former AGF Abubakar Malami for questioning
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has invited former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, for questioning. Malami, who served as AGF and Justice Minister from 2015 to 2023 under former President Muhammadu Buhari, disclosed the development on his Facebook page on Friday. He confirmed receiving a formal invitation from the anti-graft agency and said he would honour it as a “law-abiding and patriotic citizen.” Malami told family, friends and the public that he was being asked to provide clarification on certain matters and that he had no hesitation in appearing before the EFCC.
