Andre Ayew Helped Me Secure Transfer to Libya – Former Medeama Striker
On July 3, 2025, former Medeama SC forward Jonathan Sowah, now playing in Tanzania, shared with Asempa FM how ex-Black Stars captain Andre Ayew supported his career development. Ayew not only offered counsel during Sowah’s national team debut, but also personally helped facilitate his move to Libya, advising him on wise spending. Sowah also credited Ayew for guiding him in navigating the senior national team environment in 2023. Sowah’s Gratitude & Growth Sowah earned his first Black Stars call-up in September 2023 and registered an assist against Liberia at the Accra Sports Stadium.
