Davido withdraws custody case over daughter Imade
Afrobeats star Davido has withdrawn his court case seeking joint custody of his first daughter, Imade Adeleke, with her mother, Sophia Momodu. The decision came after a tense court session in Lagos where his late son, Ifeanyi, was mentioned during arguments. Davido had filed the suit in 2024 at the Lagos State High Court in Yaba, asking for joint custody and unfettered access to Imade. He claimed he had been denied regular access to his daughter despite providing financial support for her welfare.
