Burial Rites for Two Muslim Victims of Ghana Crash
The burial rites for two Muslim victims of the tragic August 6, 2025, military helicopter crash — Dr. Ibrahim Muhammed Murtala and Alhaji Munir Limuna Mohammed — will be performed today, Sunday, August 10, 2025, in Accra. In keeping with Islamic tradition and customs, the Janazah prayers will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Forecourt of the State House. The burial will follow immediately at 2:30 p.m. at the Military Cemetery.
