A heated debate has erupted in Nigeria after renewed allegations of Christian genocide and calls for international intervention. The Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA) has strongly denied claims of Christian genocide, calling such reports “dangerous and politically motivated.” The NSCIA argues that violence in Nigeria stems from poverty, criminality, and climate change, not religious intolerance.
