A Kenyan man, Collins Letting, has been arrested for running an illegal police station for six months in Uasin Gishu County. The station, which was fully set up with police colors, detention cells, and an office, was used to police the area, particularly targeting individuals with unlicensed timber from the Cengalo Forest.The fake station went unnoticed for months, even by the area chief. It was discovered on March 8, 2025, when local authorities filed a report at the Kamuyu Police Post.
