Gunmen kill two teenage herders, slaughter three cattle in Plateau
Gunmen have reportedly killed two teenage herders and slaughtered three cattle around Jol village in Riyom Local Government Area of Plateau State. The victims were attacked on Saturday while grazing their animals. State chairman of the Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria, Ibrahim Babayo, said the dead teenagers were identified as 18 year old Muhammad Sani and 17 year old Furuk Bilyaminu. He explained that one of the bodies was recovered, while the other was still missing as of Sunday. Babayo condemned the attack and described it as another unprovoked killing of Fulani herders in the area.
