JNI Strongly Denounces Benue Massacre The Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI) has condemned the latest wave of killings in Benue State , describing them as gruesome, barbaric , and unfit for any civilised society. In a statement signed by its Secretary-General, Prof. Khalid Abubakar Aliyu , and issued under the leadership of Sultan of Sokoto Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar , the Islamic group expressed deep sorrow over the ongoing bloodshed. “Scores of defenceless citizens have been unjustly massacred yet again.” The statement asked: “For how long would such killings continue on Nigerian soil?
