None of Agenda 111 Hospitals Operational – Health Minister
Health Minister Kwabena Mintah Akandoh has revealed that none of the Agenda 111 hospital projects initiated by the previous government are fully operational, despite some being inaugurated before former President Akufo-Addo left office.During an inspection of the Atwima Kwanwoma Municipal Hospital in Trede, Akandoh stated that while construction was ongoing, no hospital had been completed with full facilities and staff. President John Dramani Mahama has since directed the transfer of the projects from the Presidency to the Ministry of Health to ensure their completion.Mahama criticized the previous administration for building new hospitals instead of collaborating with faith-based organizations to expand existing facilities.
