Officials Respond to Hippo Invasion in Tolomedzi
In a swift response to the recent hippopotamus invasion in Tolomedzi, a fishing community in the Krachi East Municipality of the Oti Region, officials from the Wildlife Division, the Forestry Commission, and the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) have visited the area to assess the situation and offer support. The unexpected arrival of the large mammals has triggered serious safety concerns among residents. Adom News had earlier reported on the potential danger these hippos pose to both lives and property.
