Kano begins Ramadan health inspections in all LGAs
The Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board has begun preparations for a special Ramadan health inspection across all 44 local government areas to promote hygiene and public health during the holy month. Director General of the board, Prof Salisu Ahmed Ibrahim, disclosed this at a strategic coordination meeting with local government health educators and ward environmental health officers in Kano. He said the engagement was aimed at strengthening coordination and readiness ahead of the exercise. According to him, the inspection will focus on improving sanitation and public health standards in communities throughout Ramadan. He explained that the plan aligns with the health and sanitation agenda of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, and urged officers to carry out their duties professionally while respecting host communities.
