Aura V makes history as youngest Grammy winner at 8
Eight year old American singer Aura V has made history as the youngest individual ever credited with a Grammy win after triumphing at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards. Aura V won Best Children’s Music Album for “Harmony,” a project she created alongside her father, artist Fyütch. Her victory breaks the previous age record held by Blue Ivy Carter, daughter of Beyoncé and Jay Z, who won her first Grammy at age nine in 2021. Blue Ivy received the award for Best Music Video for her role on “Brown Skin Girl,” featuring Beyoncé, Wizkid and Saint Jhn. Aura V’s achievement now sets a new milestone, cementing her place as the youngest credited Grammy winner in the Recording Academy’s history.
