Ghana Railway Development Authority Condemns Attacks on Train and Staff
The Ghana Railway Development Authority (GRDA) has condemned two violent incidents that occurred on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, highlighting growing concerns about threats to the safety of railway personnel and infrastructure. One of GRDA’s trains, DMU2, was attacked near Tema when unidentified individuals pelted it with stones, putting both staff and passengers at risk. Later that evening, the General Manager of Passenger Service Operations at Tema was assaulted on his way home in Ashaiman.
