Davido hails Asake, Omah Lay and Rema as Afrobeats’ next GOATs
Afrobeats star Davido has named Asake, Rema and Omah Lay as the male artists he sees as the next greatest of all time in Nigerian music. He said the trio have distinguished themselves with their work and growing influence across the world. Speaking on Carter Efe’s Twitch livestream on Wednesday night, Davido was asked who he considered the next GOAT after himself. He replied that, in his view, Asake, Omah Lay and Rema stand out at the moment. According to him, they have all done exceptionally well in a short time.
