Coordinating Director Advocates for Investment in Bono Region’s Resources.
Mr. Andrews Mensah, the Bono Regional Coordinating Director, has urged for increased investment in the region's rich resources, including clay, quarry products, cashew, and poultry. He emphasized that such investments could lead to job creation and poverty reduction.Speaking at the conclusion of a four-day training program focused on cashew apple recipes for women farmers and youth, Mr. Mensah called on the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) to help showcase these economic opportunities to attract foreign investors. He believes that leveraging these sectors could significantly improve the region's economic situation.The training was organized by MOVE-ComCashew, supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and co-financed by the European Union under the Samoa Agreement with the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS).
