Stephen Amoah Pulls Gun in Self-Defense After Toy Gun Threats.

Dr. Stephen Amoah, MP for Nhyiaeso Constituency and former MASLOC CEO, allegedly pulled a gun to protect himself after being threatened by youth brandishing toy guns in Atasemanso. The incident occurred during discussions about the completion of an Astroturf project, where some constituents arrived with toy guns and fired them into the air for fun.A spokesperson for the NPP in Nhyiaeso confirmed the altercation, explaining that the MP acted in defense after one youth pointed a toy gun at him unexpectedly.This follows a growing trend in Kumasi of youth using toy guns, which has led to 26 arrests for public disturbances. Police have warned against such acts, stating they violate Ghana's Criminal Offences Act and can disrupt public peace.
