Ghana has secured a major diplomatic victory as the United States has officially lifted the visa restrictions imposed on the country in July 2025. The decision restores eligibility for Ghanaians to obtain five-year multiple-entry visas, along with other improved consular privileges. Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa announced the breakthrough on Friday, September 26, through his official Facebook page.
