Anloga DCE Warns Residents Over National Sanitation Day Negligence
The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Anloga, Sandra Seyram Kpedor, together with traditional authorities and the Volta Regional Environmental Health Directorate, has warned residents who fail to participate in the National Sanitation Day clean-up exercise. She stressed that sanitation is a shared responsibility, and neglecting communal clean-up activities worsens environmental conditions in communities. Defaulters, she cautioned, will be prosecuted to serve as a deterrent to others. Speaking during the exercise at Anloga, Kpedor reminded residents that the fight for cleaner surroundings cannot be left to government alone. She urged collective participation to improve hygiene and reduce the burden of disease in local communities.
