The Ghana National Chamber of Pharmacy is urging authorities to impose punitive measures against the illegal sale and misuse of Tramadol 225, a potent opioid that has become widely abused among the youth in Ghana. Often referred to as "RED," this drug, originally designed for severe pain management, is being misused for its stimulant and euphoric effects.The growing crisis has raised concerns over increased addiction, severe health complications, and fatalities linked to its abuse.
